A few days ago Zoe Sugg (also known as Zoella on YouTube) revealed the cover for her upcoming book
Girl Online. I have watched Zoe's YouTube videos for years so when I found out she was writing a book I was insanely excited. Her book is about a 15 year old girl named Penny who writes a secret blog (which she goes by the name Girl Online) about her life including her struggle with anxiety, her crazy family, school drama, boys ect. But then her family decided to move to New York where she meets Noah an attractive guitar player - who she evidently falls for - and writes about him on her blog. But he has a secret that could both blow her secret indenty and destroy the closest friendship she has ever had.
Yes it all sounds like a bit of a cheese fest, but I have faith that Zoe had written an exciting YA contempary noval that will appeal to a wide audience. From watching her YouTube videos I know that she herself suffers from panic attacks and I am curious to see how she uses her real life expirence with it in her story.
The book cover looks like your typical summer read. I like how there are blog looking pictures on the cover which relate to the book and the bright colours that suit the cheery, comtempary book genre.
I am planning to pick up Zoe's book when I'm in Scotland for Christmas and New Years as it will have gone on sale by the 25th of November in the UK.
